Text Reminder Notice Change not sent when changing appointment length
As of now, if a patient is put in a time slot and has the text reminder on, if that visit is shortened or lengthened, the patient gets another text message. If the time slot moves, from say 10am to 11am, this additional text reminder is absolutely required. However, if the visit was scheduled for 30 minutes by a staff member but the doc later wants it moved to 15 minutes, or vice versa, lengthened from 15 to 30 or whatever.. if the visit is shortened, the patient gets another text, which they find annoying and confusing. I understand we can click on the patient, click on patient details, uncheck the text reminder, and click save... but that is now 4 clicks and 2 new opened windows vs simply sliding the appt time a bit from the calendar. I have no idea how difficult this would be to code but as Ive noted previously, any unnecessary extra clicks in EMR is time and money wasted.
