Credit Card Surcharge Fees automatic to patient
As of now, the only integrated payment system option (Global Payments Integrated) does not allow an option to add the credit card fees back to the patient bill as a passed on surcharge fee. For example, every card type has a various % it costs you (clinic) just to process their card using their terminals (and through the online payment system that is integrated). Its small, but over the month this fee can add up for all your patients using cards... $300...$1000 or more just in fees. For example..bill is $30...the surcharge fee is .71 cents. Do you want to pay that or should the patient pay $31.70 for the convenience of using a card? The system needs to be configured to be able to have the option to add this surcharge. If you just increase your prices...then you are just increasing your fees you're paying as well. This is a 'pass on' fee. This is merely to try and gauge interest amongst the users.

Susie MergedBe able to add an upcharge fee to those who are using a debit/credit card. Credit cards fees are getting higher every month.
