Patient self check-In - Remove space sensitivity
I want to suggest an improvement. The patient sign-in portal sometimes causes confusion in reference to the entering of the individual's last name. It is space sensitive. When they enter their last name and move to the DOB section, it sometimes puts a blank space after their name. This prevents the system from locating that patient, which in turn, involves me getting pulled away from what I'm doing to tell them to delete the extra space. I feel the system and people's practices will run much smoother with this simple fix.

Annie WAlso make the window bigger. We have older patients who can see well or maneuver through the small windows and text.

Todd CunninghamAgreed. Additionally, after the patient has added their signature and clicked 'SIGN AND CONTINUE,' please remove the unnecessary need for the patient to then click 'DONE' on the 'Thank You!' message screen. (Perhaps eliminate 'SIGN AND CONTINUE' and replace w/ 'SIGNATURE COMPLETED') The current, ending Thank You message also states, "Please have a seat and we will be right w/ you." ...but that is not the message we want to give to everyone checking in to our office.

ACProbably 2/3 of our patients screw up the dob as well. They just add 4 instead of 04 or 89 instead of 1989. It would be great to drop the requirement of all eight digits.
With the iPad that we use for this, a lot of new patients don't realize they have to scroll the page down to see and select the dob box as well. Since they don't know what's wrong, they ask me for assistance. This particular problem would be fixed if you placed the two boxes side by side.
