Ability to email detailed receipt from billing module
To have the ability to email a detailed receipt with the Diagnosis Codes and CPT codes along with what patient paid right from the patients account as this type of receipt is what patients need to submit to their insurance company for direct reimbursement. I'm surprised that Only a simplified receipt can be emailed from the New billing module.
Having the ability would sure streamline this process!

NicoleWhen CF first release the "New Billing" this was an option & it was wonderful. For some reason it was changed and I don't understand why. We have so many patients that this would be incredibly helpful for!

Pam Ray MergedAfter making a payment, the receipt that is seen on my screen is different than the one sent to patients. More and more patients are needing the procedure codes detailed for their insurance (FSA and HSA accounts) and CF does not automatically produce a receipt like this. It causes a lot more work when I have to download a receipt separately and go into my e-mail and physically e-mail a receipt. It is ridiculous that the receipt pictured on my screen is not the receipt that the patient receives when they are e-mailed a receipt.

PatAgree. print preview/insurance submittable should be what's emailed. Also, a patient replied to that email and it didn't go anywhere.
With this 'enhancement' please email from noreply@... or autorespond to an email that this is not a working email or have it go from the office email address so patients can respond. I saw another enhancement request of adding next appointment date to receipt and yes, that would be a great nice to have. -

Jennifer N. Milus MergedIt takes me a ton of extra time to send out REAL receipts with all the info on them. The receipt that is generated by that quick click? is essentially useless. Please help us out with this one? :)

Kelsey WillardThis. We absolutely need to be able to email a detailed receipt from the patient payment. HSA/FSA accounts need detailed receipts. Plus, if a patient wishes to submit their bill to an out-of-network insurance, they need all of the detailed receipt information to do so (Practice info, Dx, CPT, and charges- if we can email it to them directly from the program without having to download it and email it from a separate program, it will save the office time, and the patient can easily upload that document to submit to their insurance.

Leanneyes. would love to see this. Each time I email receipt to patient, they call back and say they need to see the details of charges. Current receipt doesn't seem to serve a purpose for healthcare practice.

Alison MergedEmail patient receipts with CPT and Diagnosis codes as shown in patient payment summary. Codes are necessary for insurance reimbursement. Currently it only shows what they paid. Must download patient payment summary and separately email patient detailed receipt.

Monicaafter the billing is complete and we email the receipt to the customers they are only getting the amount. They need the codes too like what we see. It takes to much time to save the file then individual email each patient it.
