Automatically start a note when the patient is checked in with a time stamp imported of (appointment time and arrival time).

There is no clear way to start the billing and documentation process when checking a patient in. It would be helpful if the check in process added the SOAP note to the providers task list. My doc works best in a to do list form. -

Joyce MergedCurrently, there is no solid "checked in" status on the schedule. I wish there was a simple "check in" or "arrive" button on the schedule for each appointment. (We honestly don't need to know which room they are in.)
Also, when the check in button is clicked, I wish it would "create a new visit" in billing and SOAP for today's DOS. The patient account would automatically have a visit to create charges for, and an unsigned/unedited SOAP note would appear in the To Do Manager for the provider, all ready to go! -

Jessica Paige MergedInstead of having to go into every individual patient every day (which is slow), have a button that creates a draft note into tasks for everyone on the schedule for that day (much faster). This will speed up charting for doctors!

Jessica MergedInstead of having to manually create draft notes for every patient for the day, have a button that will create a draft note for all patients being seen that day. It is very time consuming to manually go in and do this especially if you are trying to do this ahead of time (the day before).
