Text Reminder Cancellations
We have a missed appointment problem and I have a suggestion. If there was a way to send an automated reply as soon as they hit no to cancel that asks them when they'd like to reschedule or why they can't come, that would help providers be able to immediately know why they couldn't make it and then help reschedule the patient right then and there. If this is already a feature that I can set up, I would love to get those instructions on how to set that up and access those messages! Thank you.

A timestamp of when a patient canceled their appointment would be helpful to enforce a 24 hour cancelation policy. Even if it's just sent to us via email...but right into their scheduled appointment would be great.
I agree that a reason for cancel, and a reschedule link going back to the patient if they reply 'no' would be valuable as well. -

GerdineWhether the patient confirms or cancels on that appointment, but then wants to change it, the green or red button stays linked to that appointment. Even if I uncheck and re-check the box. Rather than making a brand new appointment, it would be nice if unchecking and rechecking the box would remove their earlier response.

LAURADO NOT ALLOW PATIENTS TO CANCEL- ALLOW PRACTICES TO DECIDE IF THEY WANT THAT! THAT IS HORRIBLE PRACTICE MANAGEMENT. JUST A REMINDER WOULD BE GREAT

KristaWe are having consistent issues with not receiving cancellations via Text.
Patient replies with "No, I cannot make it" or some other additional information other than just "no.".
The patient gets a confirmation text their appointment has been canceled, but nothing comes through on the provider side.
So we see it as a no show appointment, and charge the missed appointment fee.
It's happening more and more.
Is it possible to allow the additional information to come through to us?
Or take away the ability to confirm/cancel - and request they call on the text reminder?
