Cancelled appointment email alerts
It would be extremely helpful if there were a way of sending an e-mail alert to patients when their appointment has been canceled. If a patient asks us to cancel an appointment, they often continue to call or contact us to ensure we did in fact get the message. Having an automated email notification to alert a patient of a cancellation would be most welcome and dare I say, celebrated.

Even better if we had a text module. Text the patient to verify it's cancelled. Done. Same for appointment reminders. -

TammyAgreed. We use a lot of text reminders, and when we cancel appts they still go out to the patients.

Carlton B Longpatients receive email reminders even if their appointment has been cancelled ... and cancelled at least 2 days or more ahead of time. Then they call to see if we did not cancel it since they received the reminder. Should not get email reminder for a cancelled appointment.
Would be a nice feature if they got email saying the appointment was cancelled at the time we cancelled it for them. -

PVCHaving an email update for changed/cancelled / missed appointments would be very helpful. We have patients who reschedule more than one time per day. They show up for the wrong time or day which creates problems when the patient shows up on the wrong day or the wrong time.
