  This would be tremendously helpful! If there are days we are normally closed and would like to be open on, it would be helpful to modify this, so we can easily change the system without making the regular hours with the patients DOS disappear.

  Yes, I feel of all things this should be the biggest priority because you have to go into admin and change the hours every time you want to schedule a single patient outside of office hours.

  Just modify open hours by a buffer outside of your normal business hours. We also flex at least an hour plus or minus on either side of opening or closing. You can also create appointments using a fictitious name (we use name of practice) and appointment type for out of office if you think you will possibly see somebody on a Saturday morning for example. All Saturdays could be scheduled out of the office but if you open up special then you can schedule over the "appointment."

  I am a (1)Dr. part-time office & I definitely needed ability to schedule on closed day so I asked CF to add another Dr/user to my acct so I have (2) schedules running.I have my regular office hrs w/ breaks,lunch etc & then I my 2nd/off-hrs schedule. My regular schedule is labeled by my name & the off-hrs schedule is labeled by my company name; however works for you.The off-hrs schedule includes my lunch breaks & every time not allowable in regular schedule. Only reg.sched. available online.

  We see people on Saturdays/Sundays for emergencies, important to be able to put a patient on the schedule for that.

  I believe this is already possible by going to the Master Settings and increasing the 'working day' min. and max time settings for either earlier or later appointments. However, "Time Blocks" that we create during office hours should allow us to schedule during these times for an anomaly that does occasionally pop up during these times. Right now I am substituting 'Special Appointments' w/ the patient name, 'Block, Time" to make this request possible.

  This is a big one for us as well!! We like to be fluid with opening up extra hours on weeks when the schedule fills up or we are out on other days for some reason. We also like to add people to the beginning or end of shift as needed.

  So we just have office hours all day, every day to allow scheduling. Would be helpful to have actual hours a shade lighter in background. That way office personnel can schedule appointments within office hours easily but also give flexibility of scheduling outside hours if needed.

  I had my office hours set longer than my doctor hours to hopefully allow staff to schedule patients on weekends or see them earlier or later than the "doctor scheduled hours." I don't want patients to have that ability on the online scheduling though so it would nice to just be able to add patients onto the schedule without changing hours since I don't want to leave my online schedule open for Saturdays and Sundays or after hours.

  yes please- there could be an option that says this is outside your normal appointment range schedule appointment anyway? It is extremely frustrating that during an emergency visit to have to go and change your office hours in what is usually a tense situation anyway-

  Yes, please. We work around this by having a special appointment type called "CLOSED" but that is messing with our stats for number of patient visits.

  I would like to be able to ADD office hours for 1 specific date. When we close for a few days, we will open up hours at the beginning of the week to get all of our patients in that week. The option to blackout a certain date is available, so it would be nice to be able to open up a certain day as well.

  We would like the ability to set appointments, such as a Saturday emergency appt, an early morning appt before regular business hours, or to schedule during lunch time hours without having to change the normal business hours to allow it. We don't want people scheduling online to be able to do it, just office staff or the doctor himself. There's no appointment record captured when someone comes on the weekend for an appointment, and there should be.

  Occasionally, the Dr. will see a patient during her lunch or before opening, or after closed hours. It would be great to be able to edit/add an appointment during closed office hours on specific days, rather than changing the entire schedule.

  Occasionally our set open, close or lunch hours will change but we are unable to change these times to schedule patients because they were created in the administrator mode under office or provider hours. Would like to be able to edit any time frames whether set in office hours, events or blocks.

  This is very necessary! I've run into this issue several times already in the span of a couple weeks! It's very confusing for the patient when their appointment shows up as a different time than what we discussed because I have to schedule the appointment for a time that shows up on the Schedule.
  
  With a previous EHR, they had the Schedule show all hours of the day in a grey color, and then the hours that the provider is available were colored and outlined. Patients using the Online Scheduler could not schedule outside of the provider's working hours, but the staff could.

  Yes please! This is a huge pain for us. Our doctors are willing to come in on any of their days off (if they are available) to see patients. However, where do we put them for stats? There was a day we had to close due to inclement weather (ice storm), so the doctors were going to see them all the next day (which was a day off for them), but we had to keep them all on the schedule for the day we were closed. A lot of patients were confused why their reminders said the wrong day/time.
