Visible change for Reschedules, Cancellations, No Shows
It would be great if the appointments that get rescheduled, cancelled, or no-show fade out in color or change color altogether.

BetsyYes, please! I like that different appointment types are different colors, but I would really like to be able to tell at a glance that a rescheduled or cancelled appointment slot is now open to schedule for another patient.

Jennot sure if this is the place for this: my patients need to be able to cancel or reschedule an appt. all they can do is make a new one.

Lee HardinThe doc has made multiple soap notes for patients who were a no show or cancelled because they are still on schedule, I know just delete the patient, but then there is no way to track no shows and we need a way to track that.

AmyWe also take our no shows/cancelled/rescheduled appointments off the schedule to keep it cleaner, but that takes away our ability to track these as well.

Jason Young, DCMy recommendation would be to remove those canceled or rescheduled visits from the schedule so that the slots appear open. However, still track the data so that we can see who has canceled and rescheduled in the scheduling report. Thanks!

Lee R.There is the ability to change colors already- you just have to set it up. However, it would be helpful to have it in the patients individual medical chart. That way we can keep track of no shows, repeated cancellations, and repeated reschedules accordingly.

Kellie C BaxterPlease add this feature! I wish when we hit cancel they could show up a different color.

T MergedA color change would be extremely helpful to be able to see at a glance the status of patient quickly since some status' aren't even visible due to the length of a patient's name. As the "completed visits" function is also used for accounting purposes, it is necessary to make sure each patient has a "checked out" status at the end of the day. It would be very helpful also for that reason to be able to change each status to a different color.

Todd CunninghamYes: Would be nice to show a series of "colored coded and dated boxes" (vertical on left side or horizontal at bottom of screen) of the patients' most recent, current and past visits (maybe 10 boxes): Green = Visits Fully/Successfully Completed (regardless of reschedule, etc. ), White = Today's visit, Yellow = Missed but got successfully Re-scheduled (not counted against CP), Red = Cancellation w/o reschedule. (They also showed: Total CP Visits, Used CP Visits and Remaining CP Visits.)

Brian S. GriffinWhen right clicking to delineate where the patient is located (waiting room, treatment room, etc.) or when patient has rescheduled or cancelled, a color change would be preferred. Going through and making a different appointment type is an ok work around, but it would be much cleaner if you could do it through the right click menu instead.

AmyAs part of this planned change, can the system recognize the future cancelled appointments and not send an automated text confirmation. We take them off the calendar, because the patients were still getting text reminders for the upcoming appointment.

Kiersten Driscollin addition to color change, include the ability for reschedules to be soft deleted - meaning removed from calendar, therefore freeing up the calendar availability, but still retained as a reschedule for tracking purposes. And update to confirmation & reminder emails/texts to include links to online scheduling in order for patients to be able to reschedule on their own without needing to contact the office.

Brian S. Griffin, D.C.Would be nice if when a patient was checked in it turned a certain color, same thing with checked out. Having that option would be great so you could quickly tell at a glance when a patient is here or has left. I know it changes the letters, but having it change color would make things easier to differentiate. Same thing with cancelled/no show patients, having that change color would be ideal. Thanks for all you guys do!

Renee SauerCan you please remove the cancellations, no show or rescheduled appointments from the schedule but keep the record of it on the patients account.

Kat BarnesA color change would be extremely beneficial or even removing it from the schedule altogether but keeping it on the patients file so we have record of their appointment history.

EllieWhen we have appointments get cancelled or rescheduled, we mark it on our printed out schedule that we track payments on throughout the day, but then we have to enter that data into other spreadsheets in order to track those patients. It's far too many extra steps and systems in place when I think it could be a fairly simple change in ChiroFusion to change the color of the appointments so they can remain on our schedule without blending in to other appointments so we're able to use the report functions again to know who still needs to be rescheduled from cancellations/no-shows.

LeanneI don't know if this helps but, at our office we made different appointment types in various colors. We named them cancel, no show and rescheduled. Then we just go into the appointment and change the visit type to whatever the case may be. It then tracks that appointment type on your dashboard. It is still visible on your schedule as well and the Dr knows not to create a soap or charges.
