Ability to Cancel Text Reminders
when I reschedule or cancel an appointment and I unchecked the text reminder I can not reschedule the patient and mark the reminder. I do not want it sending reminders to patients who have already rescheduled or cancelled and I do not want to just delete appointment as we like keeping them on our schedule for counting purposes to track no shows and cancellations and reschedules.
Is there already a solution to this that I am unaware of or do not understand or how do other practices avoid this problem.

Yes! Patients assume we didn't cancel their appointment as they requested because the reminder still goes out to them, even after we mark them as cancelled. As the original request mentioned that they do not want to delete the cancelled appointment due to tracking purposes, it would be nice to have the calendar option to "hide cancelled/rescheduled" appointments so we can easily glance and view open/available appointments, yet still view the cancellation/reschedule history when needed. -

PaigeYes! We like to keep track of No Shows or Cancellations or Rescheduled appointments in our office as well! However, our patients regularly complain that they receive text message/ email reminders of cancelled appointments. Can Chirofusion automatically turn off/not notify patients of appointments that have been marked "cancelled"?

Dr NealYes yes yes! We cancel a patients appt and the text reminders still go out for the patient to confirm.

Jolene DoughertyI get this complaint from patients constantly. They call me thinking I did not cancel their appointment, or they show up to their cancelled appointment because they got the text (even though I cancelled it on the schedule, and refilled the appointment time). it's quite a nightmare.
Text reminders still going out to patients after we have cancelled their appointment is causing a lot of hassle for us and the patients. -
