  Having the option to click on the patients name to go directly to the patient accounting page and the $ amounts pop up with a list with the option of clicking on the information to go to the Enter Charges page would be helpful.

  The aging report should have all necessary information in order to perform claim status inquiries. It should have the ability to drill down for each patient to show the separate dates of service and the balances for each. When you run it, it will give you the patient's listed with their balances in the aging buckets like it does now, but then it should have a plus sign next to the patients name allowing you to expand it. Once expanded, it would display every date of service and the balances for each.
  
  It should also have the patient's insurance ID, date of birth, and if possible the phone number of the insurance company. It is very time consuming to have to navigate to all of those different areas in the system for each patient when working the aging.

  Yes! I was thinking only about how the report appears when it is exported to excel. But an interactive aging report within chirofusion that allowed you to easily and quickly navigate to all of the accounting page info, dates of service, insurance info, etc. without having to completey leave the report and go to a new tab! Perhaps things like hovering over or clicking the insurance company name would display a tiny window with the insurance company's phone number along with patient's ID number. Hovering over patient would display date of birth/pertinent demographic info. Clicking on their balances would expand the line showing all dates of service and dollar armounts like the patient accounting page displays. AND a button that allows you to enter billing related notes that can either be DOS specific or overall patient billing note.

  I agree. The ability to generate reports that facilitate efficient management of outstanding balances is a serious shortcoming of this software. I had hoped it would improve with the update of the billing module, but it remains an issue.

  I'm in the process of checking every late payment. It's difficult to find which DOS's are in each date range. This would be a GREAT benefit! I've been searching to see if any other report would help but I haven't found one yet. If you're looking at just the claims, it's hard to tell, especially if the patient has changed insurance companies throughout the year. Thanks
